Sometimes Sparky doesn’t install right away, or you may stop seeing live usage in the Chargee app. Resetting Sparky can solve this. Before you start: have your WiFi network password ready and make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your phone.

Sparky 2
Once the light turns constant, you can move to the next step
Select Go to enable Bluetooth
Select Connect to Sparky
Choose your WiFi network from the list and enter your WiFi password
Select Connect
If the reset was successful, you’ll see this confirmed in the app
You can then finish the reset and use the app again. It may take a moment before you see your live energy usage
Sparky isn’t responding during the reset
Sometimes the device won’t connect over Bluetooth, or the light doesn’t turn blue during the reset. If that happens, you may need to do a power cycle.
Disconnect Sparky completely from power and from the RJ12 cable
Leave Sparky unplugged for about 2 minutes before trying to connect again
In the meantime, check that the power cable itself works, for example by plugging in another micro-USB device
Also restart the device (phone, tablet, or computer) you’re using to install Sparky by turning it off and back on
Then reconnect Sparky to the meter and the power cable
Go through the installation or reset process again
