How do I reset Sparky?

Sometimes Sparky installation can fail or you no longer see live consumption in the Chargee app. Resetting Sparky can resolve this issue.

Choose the version of your Sparky and follow the corresponding steps to reset Sparky.

Before resetting Sparky: Have your Wi-Fi network password ready and ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.

Connecting with Sparky failed during installation and I want to reset Sparky

  1. Press the button on the side for 5 seconds. Once the light starts blinking differently, proceed to the next step.

  2. Select Continue to connect Sparky

  3. Choose your WiFi network from the list and enter your Wi-Fi password

  4. Selecteer Connect with Wi-Fi network

  5. Upon successful connection, you will see in the app that it has been successful. You can then complete the pairing and use the app. After connecting Sparky, it takes some time before data is retrieved and you can see your live energy consumption.


I have installed Sparky but don't see live consumption:

  1. Open the Chargee app

  2. Open your Profile

  3. Under 'Home & Energy', select the address to which Sparky is linked

  4. Select Sparky

  5. Select Reset Sparky

  6. Select Continue to connect Sparky

  7. Press the button on the side for 5 seconds. Once the light starts blinking differently, proceed to the next step.

  8. Select Go to enable Bluetooth

  9. Select Connect to Sparky

  10. Choose your WiFi network from the list and enter your WiFi password

  11. Select Connect with WiFi network

  12. Upon successful connection, you will see in the app that it has been successful. You can then complete the pairing and use the app. After connecting Sparky, it takes some time before data is retrieved and you can see your live energy consumption.
