Sparky sends data from your smart meter, such as the meter number and your meter readings, to the Chargee app.

At what resolution you can see your energy data in the Chargee app depends on the DSMR version of your smart meter. This version can be found on the front of your meter as "DSMR" or "SMR" with a version number.

DSMR 5 is the most recent version, DSMR 4 and 2 are older versions.

DSMR 5

Electricity interval (kWh): every second

Gas interval (m³): every 5 minutes (with a few minutes delay)

Phase load (ampere): available in decimals

Voltage per phase: available in decimals and rounded numbers

DSMR 4

Electricity interval (kWh): every 10 seconds

Gas interval (m³): every hour

Phase load (ampere): available in rounded numbers

Voltage per phase: not available

DSMR 2

Electricity interval (kWh): every 10 seconds

Gas interval (m³): every hour

Phase load (ampere): not available

Voltage per phase: not available

I want to see higher-resolution data in the Chargee app. What can I do?

Contact your grid operator to see if replacing your smart meter with a new version is an option.

Below are links with more information on how to request a (new) smart meter for your grid operator.

Please note: when requesting a newer version of your smart meter, you cannot decide which type you will get. On top of that, your grid operator cannot tell you in advance which type of smart meter you will get: the installer will determine on-site what fits best.
